<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Disseram que escritos tristes têm mais audiência. Não significaria isto que há mais pessoas tristes do que felizes? Ontem pensei, e hoje penso novamente, que sem dúvida haja enfermos navegando exatamente neste momento, na internet. Devem estar tristes por suas doenças, impossibilitados de viver "normalmente" a vida. Devem provavelmente estar procurando algum texto na internet, algum site, ou qualquer coisa em que possam se apoiar, pelo menos por alguns minutos. Internet pode acabar sendo um passatempo muito freqüente entre os enfermos.</p>
<p>O ser humano é frágil. Qualquer coisinha, já vem a dor e da dor a frustração. A recuperação é dolorida, e estamos o tempo todo nos recuperando. Quem está doente, sente mais, porque suas revoluções físicas e psicológicas estão mais intensas. Ninguém vai querer dizer que a doença, a dor, tenha algo bom. Há quem veja a realidade de uma forma mais esperançosa, na base do pensamento de que tudo teria uma vantagem. Ficar doente quer dizer que haverá mais força depois. Mas, por mais leve que seja a enfermidade, é um sofrimento que não queremos por perto.</p>
<p>Há doenças que não são sentidas, não apresentam sintomas imediatos. Nesses casos, é muito mais difícil que o doente acredite e admita que está enfermo. O fumante, por exemplo, é um doente. Por mais que seu corpo seja resistente, aquelas tantas substâncias que entram em seu organismo o deixam cada vez pior. Mas dizer que o fumante é um doente não significa dizer que ele ou ela é uma pessoa ruim. Seria o mesmo que dizer que quebrar o dedinho do pé torna alguém pior do que é em caráter. Não, o fumante não é necessariamente uma pessoa ruim. Mas, é evidente que não está bem.</p>
<p>Não somente os fumantes, mas também as pessoas que possuem qualquer enfermidade que seja, são meio revoltadas. Já não é nada fácil acompanhar o ritmo das exigências cotidianas quando estamos com a saúde boa. Quanto mais, então, quando há uma dor de cabeça, um membro quebrado ou um coração falhando?</p>
<p>Havia um livro sobre o ócio. Quer dizer, vários livros talvez falem sobre o ócio. O ócio não é bem visto por essas bandas brasileiras. O leitor poderá bradar contra, dizendo que o ócio é, sim, muito cultuado por aqui. Mas não é assim. Somente quem está doente consegue, nos dias de hoje, perceber o quanto o ócio é não apenas interessante, mas necessário. Mas quem está com a saúde perfeita... ou melhor, que imagina estar com a saúde perfeita, "vive a vida", muitas vezes entre bebida e relações intensas, mas superficiais. Ficam bêbados e esquecem dos problemas, à la <em>2046</em>. Não lembram onde estão, nem para onde vão ou não vão. Nunca se tornam ociosos, sempre têm algo a fazer... ou estão inconscientes até os efeitos da bebida terminarem. E não terminam, em alguns casos.</p>
<p>O que você está fazendo hoje? Trabalhando, estudando, divertindo-se ou o quê? Você tem vergonha de dizer que não está fazendo nada? Vergonha não, talvez. Mas a regra do "diga o que eu quero ouvir" manda nunca dizermos que não estamos fazendo nada. Ouvi dizer uma vez que todos somos doentes. Não imagino qual seria o modelo de saúde que a pessoa que disse aquilo usou para tirar a conclusão. Mas, se for verdade que todos somos doentes, então pode ser uma sugestão produtiva dizer, em vez de "nada", que estamos constantemente nos recuperando das nossas doenças.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>According to the latest reports (rumors?), Faye Wong  (王菲) and Li Yapeng  (李亚鹏) will be at Carina Lau (刘嘉玲, Liu Jia Ling)  and Tony Leung's (梁朝偉, Leung Chiu-Wai) wedding in Bhutan on July 21, Monday, at the luxurious Uma Paro hotel. They'll be among 80 guests who will be flown there on two private jets from Bangkok, where the guests will gather. One of the jets belongs to Brigitte Lin (<!--[if gte mso 9]&#62;  Normal 0     false false false  EN-US X-NONE X-NONE              MicrosoftInternetExplorer4              &#60;![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 9]&#62;                                                                                                                                            &#60;![endif]--><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:&#34;">林青霞</span>, Lin Qingxia), who costarred with Faye and Tony in the 1994 megaclassic <em>Chungking Express</em>. <p>도무지 업데이트를 하지 않다보니 이런 뒷북이나 치고 있어요. 2046이 극장에서 내려온 게 언제인데. 비포선셋도 봐야하는데 언제 보죠?</p>
<p>모처럼 본 공리의 얼굴은 정말 감동 그 자체였고 살짝 살짝 등장하던 장만옥도 가슴 떨리는 얼굴이었습니다. 그렇지만, 장만옥, 공리, 양조위 등 한국 식으로 읽는 게 자연스러운 배우와는 달리 장쯔이라고 읽어주는 게 더 자연스러운 이 젊은 배우는 정말 뭐라 할 말이 없게 만들어요.</p>
<p>왕가위 영화는 평생 볼 겁니다. 이 사람 영화에 뛰어난 교훈이 있다거나 보면 볼수록 인생에 도움이 된다는 생각은 '절대' 하지 않아요. 그런데 어느 겨울밤에 시린 손 불어가면서 한기가 도는 냉방에서 하루키의 노르웨이의숲을 읽는 그런 기분이, 왕가위 영화에는 녹아 있다고요. 이 사람 영화는 훌륭해서 보는 게 아닌, 정말 사랑해서 보게 되는 영화에요.</p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial;">Midtown, crowed business area, the appointment is in front of Mark and Spencer, with George Scissors Hand aka George Wong Peng Loy, a famous Hong Kong hair stylist and one of the owners of the select hair dressing salon, Headquaters. He works for fashion and movies, especially with <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wong_Kar-wai" target="_blank">Wong Kar Wai</a>. He’s also the personal hair dresser of the filmmaker and the actor <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Leung_Chiu-wai" target="_blank">Tony Leung</a> and many other “beautiful” people from Hong Kong and China.</span></p>

I liked his work. But his father, owner of a travel agency and very fluent French speaker (born in Mauritius), said no. So in</span> 1980, George went in Paris, learning French “à l’<a href="http://www.alliancefr.org/sommaire.php3?lang=en" target="_blank">Alliance Française</a>” during one year:</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial;"><strong><em>- I liked many beautiful pictures and I wanted to be a photographer, but the school was too expensive, I made a training period in a hair dressing salon school at Hotel Nikko for one year. I didn’t want to stay in France for my future, so for paying my flight back to Hog Kong, I worked in a Japanese restaurant for four months. Every afternoon, I cut hairs of the personnel, like a training.</em></strong></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial;">Adolescent, George veut travailler dans la mode, mais son père, propriétaire d’une agence de voyages qui parlait couramment français (né à Maurice) s’y oppose. Alors en 1980, George vient à Paris apprendre la langue « à l’Alliance Française » pendant un an : </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial;"><strong><em>- J’aimais plein de superbes photos et je voulais devenir photographe, mais l’école coûtait trop chère. Alors j’ai fait un stage dans une école d’apprentissage de coiffure à l’Hôtel Nikko, durant un an. Je ne voulais pas rester en France pour mon avenir: pour payer mon billet retour, j’ai travaillé pendant quatre mois dans un restaurant japonais. Où chaque après-midi, je coupais les cheveux au personnel, comme entraînement.</em></strong></span></p>

Je n’aime pas beaucoup Hong Kong: il y a trop de monde, mais pour gagner de l’argent c’est mieux qu’en France!</em></strong> </span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial;"><em><strong>- I’ve worked very hard on this film: </strong></em>he<em><strong>’s full sense of humor, he’s a funny guy.</strong></em></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial;"><strong><em>He</em></strong>, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wong_Kar-wai" target="_blank">Wong Kar Wai</a>. <strong><em>this movie</em></strong>: “2046” (2004), before <a href="http://www.festival-cannes.fr/en/archives/ficheFilm/id/4433965/year/2007.html" target="_blank">My Blueberry Nights</a> (2007). And <strong><em>the</em></strong> shy young lady is Candy Law, a great fashion make-up artist and make-up consultant. She also works with the brillant filmmaker (I've been a big fan since my Movies studies at university) and his production company Jet Tone Films.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial;"><span><strong><em>- Due to the pro-longed production schedule, the previous make-up artist had to go due to other commitment.  Then the “2046”Art Director, <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0151858/bio" target="_blank">William Cheung</a>, gave me this great opportunity. The challenge: he asked me to make a basic look and it was a huge challenge, as you know the simpler the harder. Plus I worked alone with all the famous actors like </em></strong><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial;"><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Leung_Chiu-wai" target="_blank"><em><strong>Tony Leung</strong></em></a></span><strong><em>, Chang Chen, Dong Jan and actresses like </em></strong></span><span><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gong_Li" target="_blank"><strong><em>Gong Li</em></strong></a><strong><em>, Faye Wong, Carina Lau. I wanted to cooperate and finished as scheduled.</em></strong>  </span></span></p>

Especially Wong wanted everything to be perfect, that was pressure on its own, and there is no tolerance for error on the sense. You have to be under control: it’s very grueling physically!</em></strong></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial;">In the IFC’s Starbuck, finance people around us and Candy looks like a <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Burton" target="_blank">Tim Burton</a>’s character, dark, a bit gothic and full of sense of humor and lovely contradictions: </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:14pt;color:#000000;"><span style="font-size:14pt;"><span style="font-size:11pt;color:#000000;font-family:Arial;"><strong><em>- Why did I name my dog, Muffin? Cause I don’t like muffins. I love wicked idea. I can be very extreme in my make-up. Just like I love books, but I don’t read into them, I look at the pictures because I don’t want to get too involved.</em></strong> </span><strong> </strong></span><em> </em></span><span style="font-size:7.5pt;color:#000000;"><em> </em></span> </span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:14pt;"><span style="font-size:11pt;color:#000000;font-family:Arial;"><strong><em>- I have never thought about going outside of my country. I'm a very traditional Chinese woman: family is the most important thing. I know marriage is difficult. I always worried about the future.</em></strong></span></span></span></p>

She calms me because she is the closest person to me at heart. I talk to people when I want to.</em></strong> </span> </span></span></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align:justify;">Primero hacian que la Inquisición se encargara de aquéllos que decían que la Tierra no era plana (se esquivocaron), luego de aquéllos que decían que la Tierra no era el centro del Universo (luego lo admitieron), luego contra aquéllos que hablaban de una explosión como origen del Universo (lo aceptaron), luego contra aquéllos que hablaban de la teoría de la evolución (luego decían que era posible), y ahora ocurre algo raro, vuelven a admitir otra cosa: que puede haber vida fuera de la Tierra.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Me recuerda a una escena de la película <em>2046</em> (dirigida por Wong Kar Wai), en la que en una de las historias del protagonista en un mundo extraño, hay unos androides que se enamoran con retraso. El Vaticano es igual, pero por lo menos reconoce sus errores. ¡Ojalá algunos políticos reconocieran sus errores igual que hace la Iglesia, se aclararían muchas cosas!</p>

<description><![CDATA[Tirei um domingo desses aí pra ver os três filmes da trilogia do Wong Karai: Dias Selvagens, Amor ]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Tirei um domingo desses aí pra ver os três filmes da trilogia do Wong Karai: <em>Dias Selvagens</em>, <em>Amor à Flor da Pele</em> e <em>2046</em>. Tinha uma idéia vaga do que tratavam, mas não imaginava que fosem todos intimamente ligados ao óh-óh-amor. Cada um trata de maneira diferente este que muitos de vocês aí dão alguma importância. Digo isso porque, ao término da maratona "domingão com karaizão", percebi que não havia guardado muita simpatia pelas histórias dos filmes (exceto pela do terceiro, que é a melhor mesmo e a única que dispensa todo o mambo jambo necessário ao tema), o que gostei mesmo foi a maneira como elas foram filmadas.</p>
<p><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-54" style="float:left;" src="http://dadecada.wordpress.com/files/2008/04/days.jpg" alt="" width="194" height="266" /><em>Dias Selvagens</em> começa com um china dando uma de malandro-carioca, urubuzando uma china songa-monga na barraquinha suco+salgado=1real onde ela trabalha. Tenta umas tantas vezes até conseguir levar a china pro pardieiro onde vive. Ela, se comportando como uma clássica songa-monga, o pede em casamento nem bem foi fornicada. Ele diz que não, ela diz que vai esquecê-lo blá blá blá catshow sachê blá blá blá. Corta pro china malandro-carioca descendo o cacete num mané que gigolozava a sua mãe, dentro do camarim de uma dançarina-puta. O china, depois do quebra-pau, dá em cima da dançarina-puta. Ela, muito fácil, vai pro pardieiro dele. Corta pra china songa-monga sendo amparada por um guarda enquanto se lamenta do óh-óh-amor perdido. Esse casal, mais contido, mais calado, logo mais aturável, é onde o filme se segura para não chatear tanto com a falação do casal malandro-carioca/dançarina-puta, porque, juntos, eles são o mais insuportável de todo o filme, ela tem todo um ciúme e ele não dá a mínima pra isso, só quer saber de encontrar sua mãe verdadeira (que foi puta e ele quer conhecer, mas sua mãe adotiva não dá o endereço dela). É o tipo de combinação de fatores que expõem a extrema pobreza de espírito dessas pessoas, provocando, antes de mais nada, irritação latente: 1)gente feia 2)fazendo escândalo 3)num cortiço. Enfim, é o início de uma trilogia que fala sobre óh-óh-amor, logo, mostra toda a imaturidade do início das relações e como as primeiras não devem ser levadas a sério. Pra encerrar, uma rápida sequência de luta implorando pela atenção do Tela Class.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-55" style="float:right;" src="http://dadecada.wordpress.com/files/2008/04/in-the-mood-for-love.jpg" alt="" width="252" height="361" /><em>Amor à Flor da Pele</em> é bem diferente do <em>Dias Selvagens</em>: possui um senso de estilo inexistente no filme anterior e ultrapassa a sua imaturidade. A ligação do primeiro com o segundo é a china songa-monga, que passou numa loja entre um filme e outro, comprou 46 toalhas de mesa e transformou-as em 46 vestidos de modelo único. Ganhou com isso uma elegância que escondeu a sua postura de retardada e lhe acentuou um ar enigmático, que a deixou mais tetéia, claro. Então... A china outrora songa-monga se muda para um quartinho com seu marido. O apê ao lado também está recebendo novos moradores: um china tampinha e jornalista, e a sua esposa. O marido e a esposa desses chinas não comem em casa, ficam no trabalho até tarde - estão, obviamente, se pegando - enquanto os chinas vão toda noite pra fila da barraca de miojo da esquina, em slow motion e sem se cruzarem. Mas eles se encontram em algum momento, partilham a certeza de que seus respectivos estão se pegando e resolvem se pegar também. Mas não se pegam. O jornalista começa a escrever um romance com a ajuda da china e ficam trancados em um quarto de hotel (número 2046) apenas com esse propósito, sempre amigos, nunca adúlteros. E é dessa falta de consumação que o filme trata, tanto óh-óh-amor e tantas convenções para se chegar no seu mais prazeroso estágio. O máximo de contato entre eles que é mostrado são as mãos dadas. É o mais romântico dos três filmes e o mais contido. Por estar filmando um não-caso, Wong Carvalho procura chamar a nossa atenção para algo que supostamente não irá causar nenhum interesse carregando muito bem na fotografia, nos cenários, em todos os segmentos que compõem a FORMA de um filme, sua moldura, etc etc etc.</p>
<p><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-57" style="float:left;" src="http://dadecada.wordpress.com/files/2008/04/20461.jpg" alt="" width="234" height="310" />Mas acho que essa forma chega ao cúmulo de sua beleza plástica em <em>2046</em>. A ligação do segundo para o terceiro é, dessa vez, o china jornalista. Daí já dá pra ter alguma idéia de que essa trilogia quer falar do tal do óh-óh-amor usando apenas um único casal como exemplo máximo. Os personagens ao redor da china songa-monga e do china tampinha só existem para estimular as atitudes tomadas por eles, que irão justificar o porquê de estarem próximos ou afastados um do outro. E em <em>2046</em>, o china está sozinho, escrevendo sobre "2046": um lugar onde as pessoas vão para recapturar memórias perdidas, porque nada muda em "2046". É nesse livro que o china vai tentar explicar para si mesmo o porquê do seu relacionamento com a china songa-monga ter falhado, fazendo uso do gênero que mais se apoia na criação de metáforas para dar algum sentido à realidade: a ficção científica. É através dessa definação sobre "2046" que Wong Karai vai desfiando o estado de espírito do seu protagonista, que passa o filme inteiro se lamentado pela ausência do seu grande óh-óh-amor, enquanto traça outras china (as mais tchans da trilgogia estão nesse filme) e enche a cara de cana. <em>2046 </em>foi tachado de "confuso", um filme que não deixa transparecer em qual tempo sua ação se desenrola e que se confunde com a obra criada pelo china. Acho que ver a trilogia inteira de uma vez acaba com essa sensação de confusão, já que esse é o filme solo do china, onde ele vai recordar várias vezes momentos dos dois anteriores e encontrar alguns de seus personagens. Ele fornece a melhor definição para entender todas essas idas e vindas: "O amor é uma questão de timing, não adianta encontrar a pessoa certa muito cedo ou muito tarde. Se eu vivesse em outro tempo ou espaço, minha história talvez tivesse um final diferente". <em>2046</em> é o mais triste da trilogia, sustentado apenas por um profundo sentimento de remorso que tenta se esconder atrás de um sem-número de personagens e suas sub-tramas que só atenuam o pesar da história principal. E, por isso tudo, é também o melhor e o mais satisfatório.</p>

<p>Tην επόμενη, στην κινηματογραφικη λεσχη ξαναείδα το <em>2046 </em>του <em>Wong Kar-Wai</em>. Για να το θυμηθω και να το καταλάβω. Μου ειχε αρεσει αισθητικα απο την πρωτη φορα αλλα δε μπόρεσα να το συνδέσω με το <em>Ιn the mood for love </em>που ειχε προηγηθει.</p>
<p>Αυτο που ελεγα οτι παρακολουθω τις λεπτομεριες και χανω το δασος... Οτι οι ασιάτες ειναι λιγο περισσοτερο Ποιητές... </p>
<p>Το  <a href="http://www.filmstew.com/showArticle.aspx?ContentID=12074">αρθρο</a> στο filmstew.com μου ξεκαθαρισε με τον πιο κατανοητο τροπο τη σύνδεση των δυο ιστοριών. Μεταξύ άλλων αναφέρει ότι το <em>In the mood</em> of love τελειωνει εκει οπου ο ηρωας επιχειρώντας ενα αρχαιο τελετουργικο , <em>λέει το μυστικο στην τρυπα ενος κορμου δεντρου και το καλυπτει με λασπη</em>. Το <em>2046</em> αρχιζει απο τη στιγμή που το μυστικο εχει κρυφτει και καλυφθει με λασπη.<!--more--></p>

<p>Και επειδη η φιλη leila την περασμενη εβδομαδα αναρωτιοταν για τα <a href="http://madleila.wordpress.com/2008/03/26/playing-dice/">τυχαια γεγονοτα</a>, συνειδητοποιησα και εγω χθες ότι χωρις να το αναζητησω επεσα σε ένα πολυ ενδιαφερον και ιδιορρυθμο <a href="http://postsecret.blogspot.com/">blog </a>το οποίο λειτουργει οπως <em>ο κορμος του δεντρου.</em> Οι αναγνωστες στελνουν ανωνυμα το μυστικό τους γραφοντας το σε μια καρτα που εχουν δημιουργησει οι ιδιοι.</p>
<p>Διχως να το χαρακτηριζει η λογικη κλειδαροτρυπας, το POSTSECRET.COM εκθέτει (σχεδόν)χειροπιαστές αποδειξεις για τον λογο για τον οποιο η φανερωση ενος μυστικου αλλαζει συνθέμελα το τοπίο μιας ιστοριας (<a href="http://katdefrag.wordpress.com/2008/03/23/%ce%91fter-the-wedding-2006/">κινηματογραφικής</a> ή μη).</p>
<p>Απολαυστικό για το παιχνίδι των υποθέσεων στο οποιο αυτομάτως μας βάζει!</p>

Dei tre film che ho visto <em>In the Mood for Love,  2046 </em> e l'episodio <em>La Mano</em> di <em>Eros </em>quello che salta di più all'occhio è proprio il suo modo di scrivere il film con la macchina da presa: lunghe sequenze in ralenty contrastate da improvvise e splendide composizioni immobili delle inquadrature, il privilegio dei dettagli, l'uso di decadrage, l'abitudine di nascondere i personaggi: riprendendoli spesso di spalle, facendone sentire sola la voce, incorniciandoli attraverso porte, finestre e specchi, oppure frapponendo immense vetrine tra loro e noi che superiamo l'ostacolo con un desiderio di entrare nel film ancara più grande.</p>

<p>"A mysterious train left for 2046 every once in a while. Everyone who went there had the same intention.....to recapture their lost memories. It was said that in 2046, nothing ever changed. Nobody knew for sure if it was true, because nobody who went there had ever come back- except for one. He was there. He chose to leave."</p>
<p><b>(955)</b></p>
<p>955 is the place to seek for independence, wisdom and more or less the place to find one's true self.  Some experiences were easier to find than others but nonetheless, lesson learned in 955 were very valuable.  955 is not the place to stay long, people come and go once they have found what they want, and over the time 955 has been deteriorating with all source of bad noises, broken machinery and the people themselves.  For sure, it is not getting any better.  The surroundings are actually much better.  Doors are wide open with warmth welcome and there is no lack of laughters.   955 will soon be forgotten but its surroundings will always stayed in the hive of lost memories.</p>
<p><b>(2706)</b></p>
<p>It was love at first sight once arrived.  2706 creates an image that seems quite difficult to forget.  Given the proximity of its surroundings, it stands on its own.  Unlike 2046 and 955, 2706 offers a fresh start to forget the past, to find maturity and to prove confidence.  It was a long journey for everyone to get to 2706 with many trips back and forth and many careful thoughts put into it.</p>

<p align="left">His options are there.  Where is he going from here?  He is standing in the middle of an equilateral triangle - lost and confused.  The distance to each destination is equally the same but the end results are not.   He sure does not want to recapture his lost memories in 2046, only memories in the hive are worth keeping.  What happened in 955 was just too daunting for him to stay back.  It is time for him to look ahead, to move forward and to leave the past behind. Apparently his choice is clear.  He is taking his chance in 2706.  It does not have any history nor memory.  Seemed like a perfect place to be in.</p>

<p>Even without knowing that this was a <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0939182/" target="_blank" title="Imdb">Kar Wai Wong</a> film it was very obvious from the opening scenes- similar to <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0212712/" target="_blank" title="Imdb">2046</a> in that it has great style and cinematography.   If you haven't seen 2046 you should for some excellent acting by <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0504897/" target="_blank" title="Imdb">Tony Leung</a>, <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000084/" target="_blank" title="Imdb">Gong Li</a> and <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0955471/" target="_blank" title="Imdb">Ziyi Zhang</a> who are all huge stars in Asian cinema.  The story itself is a bit slow though so don't expect anything too exciting.</p>
<p>As for Blueberry Nights- this film is about feelings:  love, hate, abandonment, desire, jealousy, and above all hope.   However, I felt rather emotionless by the end and I thought there where this film works well is in the small details that Wong seems to focus on in his films.  There are couple of things I found a bit annoying as well- the jazz music interludes between scenes and Nora Jones voiceovers reminded me of something out of the Red Shoe Diaries which really just cheapens the imagery.</p>
<p>The acting was good for the most part but the standout performances were <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000657/" target="_blank" title="Imdb">David Strathairn</a> and <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001838/" target="_blank" title="Imdb">Rachel Weisz</a>- they both inhabit their characters and really made it look like the others were just acting.  <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1289528/" target="_blank" title="Imdb">Nora Jones</a> is ok in her first role- while I never really liked her voice she is good and really cute I must admit- although when Weisz is on the screen you know who the girl is and who is the femme fatale.  <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000179/" target="_blank" title="Imdb">Jude Law</a> and <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000204/" target="_blank" title="Imdb">Natalie Portman</a> are both ok as well- nothing earth shattering but a decent performance.</p>
<p>Overall it is a good film- worth it for the cinematography and acting by David Strathairn and Rachel Weiss</p>

Così parlò Wong Kar Wai presentando <em>2046</em>, seguito ideale di <em>In the mood for love</em>: stesso attore protagonista (Tony Leung), stessa città (Hong <a href="http://nonhosonno.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/2046.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-293" src="http://nonhosonno.wordpress.com/files/2008/08/2046.jpg?w=210" alt="" width="210" height="300" /></a>Kong) e stesso motivo ricorrente del ricongiungimento alla Cina nel <em>2046</em>, stessi particolari che tornano (il segreto confidato all’albero). Film raffinato e sontuoso in puro stile Wong Kar Wai, <em>2046 </em>in prima battuta parla dell’impossibilità di riconciliarsi con il passato, parla quindi di rimpianto, di destino, dell’incapacità di ricominciare davvero: questi sono i muri invisibili che imprigionano il protagonista in una vita fatta di passioni intense e transitorie, incapaci di restituire l’innocenza, perduta assieme al grande amore (non a caso Maggie Cheung, l’attrice di <em>In the mood for love</em>). L’impressione è però che il film ci parli d’altro, di un’unità spezzata in maniera definitiva: ogni donna è qualcosa della Donna, ogni donna è proiezione parziale del Desiderio, ma nessuna donna è La Donna. Così, si potrebbe dire, nessuna parola è La Parola, nessuna lingua è La Lingua, quella divina, perduta, la cui distanza inavvicinabile ci consegna al disorientamento e all’insufficienza. </span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:small;">È un film di speculazione profonda <em>2046</em>, i cui temi nascosti sono l’impossibilità del ritorno all’Unità, l’essere gettati nel mondo senza potersi mai ricongiungere con l’Origine, l’umana condanna alla traduzione del Verbo, che possiamo solo avvicinare e alla cui verità saremo estranei fino alla fine. Il virtuosismo di Wong Kar Wai va di pari passo con la riflessione ermeneutica che il film mette nascostamente in campo, perciò il suo cinema è perfettamente coerente: la sua ricerca stilistica è il tentativo di dare al cinema, alla pellicola, il dono della sensibilità, come se la finzione potesse sul serio ricostruire la percezione e l’emotività, superando la differenza tra corpo ed espressione, la differenza tra anima e carne, superando il dualismo umano. Tentativo tragico e disperato come le domande che pone <em>2046</em>, un film molto bello, molto impegnativo, da vedere assolutamente. Annotazione affatto oziosa: molte musiche del film sono di Peer Raben, compositore di quasi tutti i film di Fassbinder e in <em>2046</em> troviamo addirittura il rifacimento di Each man kills the things he loves, aria che Jeanne Moreau sussurrava in <em>Querelle de Brest</em> (1982). Che Wong ci stia sottilmente suggerendo un orizzonte perduto del suo cinema?</span></p>
