"Womanizer" is a throwback to the "Toxic" era, which is arguable when Spears was at her best. Like in that video, we have lots of different outfits, a cheating lover, a revenge plot, and a lot of naked Britney Spears. And I wouldn't have it any other way. Britney appears to be her old self again, which is a relief after everything she's been through the past couple of years.

No one is going to accuse Britney Spears of being deep, and while "Womanizer" is as superficial as anything Spears has done, it's also as catchy as the best she's done. Sure the chorus is just the word "womanizer" repeated over and over again, but lyrics be damned! Blackout managed to have some pretty decent singles, and Britney was definitely in a lot worse shape when she was making that album, so we can only hope that her songs get even better in her healthy state. "Womanizer" is definitely a good start. B+

Video #2 is more unexpected, but man, it's a riveting piece of video for a minute and a half. Check out the promo for Britney's MTV reality show "For the Record", due in November.

This clip is fascinating, if for no other reason than the quote at the end of the video. "What the hell was I thinking?" I haven't been a big booster of the new song, but I really am rooting for her to make a comeback. The fact that she's asking the question says a lot about her and how far she's come. This is must-see TV, y'all!

En ésta escena, ella luce una peluca negra corta y se ve guapa, sofisticada. (En la escena del cuarto de copiado, notaron algo familiar? Creo que el tipo que está detrás de ella fue el afortunado que logró besarla un poco en Toxic. No se, creo.) Después vemos a una Britney mesera. Ropa ultra pegada, peluca peliroja. Es la Britney sexy, rebelde y mala del video. Amé éste vestuario. Luego de la Britney mala, vemos otra "personalidad" de ella: Britney chofer. Luciendo úniamente tacones, saco, una corbata y un sombrero de chofer, ella hace de las sullas al conducir el coche sin siquiera ver a donde va y con moviendo el volante con un solo pie. Espectacular. Por último, regresamos a la primera Britney. La sexy Britney.

En sí, el video es considerado como la continuación de Toxic, mientras que otros dicen que sería la continuación de Break The Ice. En cuanto son peras o manzanas, algo es seguro... HA REGRESADO. Y todo parece indicar, que retomará su trono en muy poco tiempo.

Funny things I noticed though:

1) Fat man from "Toxic" in the back getting coffee after the whole photocopying bit.
2) On the phone, Brit was doing something different than what the phone was showing us.
