<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It's far from official but these pix of the supposed 2010 Civic hatch are floating around, said to be powered by a 1.5L IMA hybrid motor worth 150hp with a 2.0L i-VTEC Type R to follow. Personally I love it, I'd rock one all day long, but I'm not sure I like it as much as the <a title="sexy!" href="http://ekhatch.wordpress.com/2008/06/05/please/" target="_blank">CRZ</a>. I guess we'll see, the US probably won't get the hatch version anyway.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A PSA Peugeot Citroën da Argentina realizou na manhã nesta terça-feira a cerimônia de lançamento industrial do hatch médio C4. Localizada na província de Palomar, próximo à capital argentina, a fábrica do grupo foi o palco do acontecimento que reuniu importantes figuras como a presidente da nação Cristina Kirchner, políticos e claro, executivos da marca. O modelo chega em um momento próspero para a PSA, que registrou recente crescimento de 47% em suas vendas no mercado argentino. O C4 hatchback chega às primeiras concessionárias do país vizinho em novembro e, no Brasil, apenas em março do ano que vem.</p>

<p>Com estimativa de produzir 22.000 unidades anuais do médio, a Citroën incrementou a produção da planta de Palomar, trabalhando a todo o vapor nos três turnos. As unidades abastecerão, principalmente, os mercados argentino e o brasileiro, onde 55% desse total será destinado ao nosso país. A depender da versão, o índice de nacionalização do C4 hatchback varia de 60% a 65%. Sem revelar muitos detalhes, a montadora cofirmou para o Brasil apenas o bloco 2.0l flexível, mas provavelmente o 1.6l - também flex - deverá chegar ao país. No país vizinho, além de tais propulsores (sem a tecnologia flex, movidos a 'nafta') um turbodiesel deverá ser oferecido. Preços não foram revelados, mas especula-se algo na faixa da concorrência: R$ 56.000.</p>

<p>If you have a Nissan Tiida/ Latio,and you realize that standard looks is boring, you don't need to be confuse about how to upgrade the standard looks. Because <a href="http://www.kenstyle.co.jp" target="_blank">Kenstyle</a> has the answer, the small hatchback is too skinny for them, so instead of putting tiny lips spoiler, they fitted a sexy Angelina-Jolie-looks lips spoiler. It looks good,though. On the side, a nice side skirt were fitted nicely. At the back,rear half cut spoiler looks good.<!--more--><br />
Just my advice, you may think to change the muffler with different shape than Kenstyle's.<br />
Also, this Tiida/Latio needs a bigger rims to match the spoiler. With this bodykit, the European wannabe Latio gets Japanese identity, which is good.<br />

<p>In all honesty, what car you would least expect to be imported in Japan? What European car you would give a zero percent possibility to catch on a Japanese street?</p>
<p>You would never ever think that Autobianchi's A112 got imported in Japan, would you? No, I guess not! Well think again, cause the photos <!--more-->in <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/obentou/sets/72157603184049191/" target="_blank">this Flickr gallery</a> prove us all wrong!</p>
<p>These photos seem to be from some A112-owners meeting, somewhere in Japan and I highly doubt that the number plates have been Photoshoped! What I don't know is how these guys maintain their little A112s, cause finding spare parts for their little Bianchis in Japan must be a hell of a task!</p>

<p>As matter of fact, I've been on a A112 a couple of times in the past! During the very late 70's a family friend has lent a A112 to my mother for a couple of weeks. It was a red 75hp Abarth with a black engine hood! Fabulous little car, awesome sound, the two spoke steering wheel was a real fetish item, but one afternoon my mother and I were driving from Nea Makri (just outside of Athens) back to our house and the damned thing broke down in the middle of nowhere! Mind you there weren't any cell phones back then to call for road assistance, so we had to walk a few kilometres to find the nearest phone :D</p>
<p>And the last time been on a A112 was in 2003, but it was the standard model and wasn't any fun at all, from what I remember, the car handled very sloppy.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Some new spyshots have been taken of the Ford Ka. It seems to be in its final testing stages. The car will be released at the end of this year in Europe. It is going to be premiered at the September '08 Paris Motor Show. The car has been around since 96 in Europe and has been a big hit there. The new 2009 model is said to bring a 1.2, 1.3 or 1.4 liter motor. The 1.2 liter can easily do 50mpg. There are also plans for the Abarth-like car to have a flagship ST model, which will have a body kit, fender flares, 17" wheels and upgraded suspension, brakes and a more powerful 150bhp motor which can do 0-60 in less than 8 seconds.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Looks a lot like the Toyota Yaris to me. I'm not a big fan of Ford, but I give them props for making a lot of moves lately. They are trying to introduce a lot of new cars, technology and are more reliable today than ever before. Keep an eye on them, they could sneak up on Toyota easily.</p>
<p>These pictures are unofficial but the car itself will be officially revealed at the upcoming Paris Auto Show.</p>
<p>It is said that it will be receiving a range of engines from 1.2 liters to 1.4 liters and even a turbocharged version. The car is said to reach 50mpg.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Brazilian subsidiary of Fiat, Fiat Automóveis is building these cute little Fiat Punto Turbo's for distribution across major South American markets. Europe has tons of these all over the place and the U.S. doesn't (however we are getting the Alfa Romeo MiTo, check my blog for that story) but South America will be getting their first taste.</p>
<p>This Punto is basically a 5 door Abarth. The Abarth in Europe has 3 doors. This 5 door model is exclusive to South America. The 1.8 liter turbo charged motor will pump out 155 horse-power, upgraded brakes and suspension which includes 17" alloy wheels.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Looks like there will be a worldwide release of the upcoming MiTo from Alfa Romeo. At least in the U.S., that will be a breathe of fresh air. We don't get many Alfa's around here, at least not in the last 10-20 years. It's a nice looking car and the performance numbers don't look too bad either. More information will be revealed in June and July by Alfa. Several engine configurations are being rumored, based off the similarities with the Grande Punto, this car can see any range of turbocharged motors between 1.4 liter and 2.0liters. :D. HOORAY!</p>

Ok this may seem small to most but come on...
<p>
I drive a pug 206, it has 4 doors where people can get into the car and the boot has a hatchdoor.<br><br />
So that would make it a 4 door and hatch not a friggin 5 door hatch!<br><br />
My wife drives a 2 door car and its boot has a hatch...<br><br />
so what does that make it?
<p>
If you say its a 3 door hatch, I will hunt you down and slap you silly. By that I mean with a dead fish.
<p>
One of my mates has a 4 door, you know, to the front and back seats, and his boot is a standard sort of boot.<br><br />
Does that mean he has a 5 door boot!
<p>
I hate stupid things and I hate stupid people trying to sound smart like saying, oh yes I drive a 5 door hatchback....you know what, you don't. You drive a 4 door hatch back.

<p><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-98" style="float:right;" src="http://wrcn.wordpress.com/files/2008/05/358851033a.jpg" alt="" width="416" height="292" />          A Subaru revelou hoje que seu novo e tão esperado Impreza WRC2008 será lançado no próximo fim de semana, no Rally de Acrópolis, na Grécia, entre os dias 29 de Maio e 1o de Junho.</p>
<p>          O novo carro é baseado na versão mais recente do Impreza de rua, que foi introduzido em Junho de 2007. Apesar de continuar com a mesma filosofia Subaru: motor boxer turbo-alimentado e transmissão AWD simétrica, os componentes e a construção do novo carro são totalmente inovadoras.</p>
<p>        <!--more-->           As informações mais técnicas ainda são segredo e serão reveladas pouco antes do Rally de Acrópolis, mas sabe-se que a fornecedora de amortecedores BOS, que têm dado muitos problemas principalmente para Petter Solberg, continuarão fornecendo seus componentes para o Impreza WRC2008.</p>
<p>          Se por dentro o novo carro é uma revolução, por fora, o antigo tema de cores, azul e amarelo, tradicional e sinônimo de marca no WRC desde 1993, dará lugar a um simples azul metálico levando o logo da Subaru nas laterais.</p>
<p>          "Estamos muito empolgados em poder lançar o todo novo Impreza WRC2008 antes do previsto," disse David Richards, chefe da Subaru World Rally Team. "É o compromisso e dedicação do time na Inglaterra (Prodive) e na STI (Subaru Tecnica International), no Japão. Assim como o novo carro de rua representa uma nova era para a Subaru, o WRC2008 representa também para todos nós do Subaru World Rally Team e estamos confiantes que já na Grécia poderemos ser competitivos."</p>
<p>          O comprometimento da Subaru é inquestionável. Assim como em 1993, quando o Subaru Impreza foi criado e desenvolvido para substituir o Legacy na competição, a versão hatchback, a pedidos principalmente de Petter Solberg, veio para melhorar ainda mais sua perfomance nas estradas do WRC.</p>
<p>          <img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-99" style="float:left;" src="http://wrcn.wordpress.com/files/2008/05/216195617a.jpg" alt="" width="416" height="292" />David Richards disse que o momento foi ideal para lançar o novo WRC2008, pois já provou em testes que é mais rápido que a versão antiga. "O objetivo do time sempre foi lançar o WRC2008 tão cedo os testes confirmassem que bons passos em prol da performances geral tenham sido feitos,", disse Richards. "Estamos confidentes que introduzindo o carro na Grécia, permitirá que o time seja altamente competitivo na segunda metade do campeonato e dará a oportunidade para Petter e Chris de já vencerem em 2008." Outro motivo para lançar o carro agora, foram as novas regras que obrigam as equipes a utilizarem os mesmos carros e motores em pares de rallyes: Acrópolis e Turquia - se não fossem introduzidos agora, teriam que esperar até o Rally da Finlândia.</p>
<p>          A última vitória da Subaru na categoria aconteceu no Rally do México 2005 e a legião de fans ao redor do mundo esperam que o novo carro trará de volta a glória e prestígio: Campeão do FIA WRC, campeonato de construtores em 1995, 1996 e 1997 e campeonato de pilotos com, Colin McRae em 1995, Richard Burns em 2001 e Petter Solberg em 2003.</p>
<p>          Solberg tem estado extremamente frustrado nos últimos dois anos, mas mais recentemente, no Rally da Sardinia e se recusou a conversar com os jornalistas a respeito dos problemas, mas disse estar confiante que o novo carro lhe dará a chance de batalhar por vitórias ainda este ano. Entretanto, o noruêgues não teve muito tempo para se acostumar com o novo carro e terá de fazê-lo em Acrópolis. "Eu terei um dia de testes com o carro na França, na próxima semana, somando as dois que tive pouco antes do Rally da Sardinia", disse ele. "Obviamente teria sido melhor um pouco mais de testes antes de competirmos, mas a decisão é do time e faremos o melhor possível na Grécia."</p>

<p>- It's a 4 door hatchback</p>
<p>- Speeds reaching 65 mph</p>
<p>- Am/FM CD stero</p>
<p>- Sun Roof</p>
<p>- GPS Navigation</p>
<p>The Get Around uses a standard household 110 volt outlet to charge the car which lasts about 4-6 hours and off you go.  It even has a sun roof to catch some rays while cruising.  With the ability to go up to 60 miles on a single charge, the Get Around is not that bad to use for short distance driving.</p>

Sim, metade da equipe com Markko Martin e metade com Peter Solberg e Chris Atkinson. Ainda bem que não é briga! Desde Janeiro, o ex-piloto da Subaru e também da Ford, foi contratado para testar e desenvolver exclusivamente o novo Subaru Impreza WRC 2008, a versão, hatchback do carro que é sinônimo de Rally.</p>
<p>          Enquanto isso, os pilotos Petter "Hollywood" Solberg e Chris "Atko" têm se esforçado ao máximo para somar pontos no campeonato, com um carro que em 2007 provou não ser muito confiável; e com sucesso, o piloto número 2 da equipe está em terceiro no campeonato, atrás apenas de Mikko Hirvonen (Ford) e Sebastian Loeb (Citroen), atual campeão da categoria.</p>

<p>          Aparentemente este novo carro fará sua estréia no Rally da Finlandia, de 31 de Julho a 2 de Agosto. O motivo de tanta demora é que a equipe quer o novo carro em condições de ganhar rallies já em 2008, coisa que a Subaru não consegue desde 2005 com Petter Solberg ao volante.</p>

They actually have firm side bolsters and a firm, supportive feel. They're perfect for the weekend autocross enthusiast. The Astra also has a firm ride. A very firm ride. Although it is no speed demon the 1.8L 4CYL engine with 138 horsepower gets 30.3 miles per gallon.</p>
<p>This saturn comes with a standard 5 speed manual transmission and a four speed automatic is optional. The hatchback version is sold as a two-door and also as a four-door. The interior lives up to its heritage with a unusually large cargo area with a split rear seat that folds for cargo carrying. The two door version options include a upgraded sound system with MP3 player, handsome 18-inch alloy wheels, heated leather seats and a leather wrapped steering wheel.</p>
<p>Today, many buyers still prefer European cars because of the suspension, tuning, handling, and design rather than snob appeal. European cars have a better feel than their American and Japanese counterparts. Now we have the Saturn Astra, a German-designed hatchback from <a href="http://www.gm.com">GM</a>. It's the best small car GM has sold in the United States in decades. If you're considering a Mazda3, Volkswagen Rabbit or Honda Civic, try this one out before you buy.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I made a couple of Photoshopped images for a SAABCentral thread, might as well post them here too. The back of the "coupe" reminds me of a mid-eighties Mustang for some reason. The hood is too long once the rear doors are removed, in my opinion. I wish I had shortened the hood. The "hatchback" doesn't do anything for me either, it would be better to get a 9-3, 9000, or a Chevy Malibu MAXX instead.</p>
