इन संभावनाओं की तलाश करते हुए यह पोस्ट मैं लिख रहा हूं। शायद मैं ऐसा नहीं करता अगर दीपक बापू कहिन पर एक नया पाठ रखने चिट्ठाकार समूह को ईमेल करने के तत्काल उसके ब्लाग पर मुझे अंग्रेजी के बहुत सारे नये पाठ नहीं दिखाई देते। क्या वह उन संदेशों को कहीं पढ़ रहा था। मैंने उससे कहा था कि दोपहर तक वह मेरे पाठ हटा दे और उसने ऐसा करने की बजाय बहुत सारे अंग्रेजी के पाठ ही डाल दिये और गुमराह कर रहा है कि यह तो किसी अंग्रेज का ब्लाग है। इतना तय है कि अगर वह भारत के हिंदी ब्लाग जगत का सदस्य है तो बहुत पुराना है क्योंकि उसे इन चर्चाओं के बारे में पता चल जाता है। अगर वह अंग्रेज ब्लागर है तो फिर उसने मेरे तीन ब्लाग की कापी करने के बाद फिर किसी अन्य ब्लाग के पाठ को वहां क्यों नहीं रखा था। मेरे पाठ लगतार दो दिन तक क्यों दिखाई दे रहे थे?
क्या इस बीच में वहां कोई ऐसा पाठ नहीं आया था। बहरहाल उसने मेरे पाठ को खींचने वाले जो तार वहां लगा रखे हैं उनको हटाते हुए यह पोस्ट मैं लिख रहा हूं। देखते हैं अगर उसके बाद भी यह ब्लाग वहां पहुंचता है तो फिर आगे मामला बढ़ायेंगे और नहीं तो उस ब्लाग पर निगाह रखना होगी कहीं वह कोई और कारिस्तानी तो नहीं कर रहा है। वैसे यह अंतर्जाल है पता नहीं पड़ता है कि हमें कोई धोखा दे रहा है या स्वयं ही खा रहे हैं। मैं इधर उधर जब सफल नहीं होता तो अपने लिखने में ही प्रयोग करता हूं।

I last write a course for staff at my university in 2005, one that ended up proving highly successful, attracting a lot of staff with either an interesting developing their own website, or those now facing website maintenance duties within their area.  I worked back then with out professional development team to produce a course that runs approximately 1.5 days and covered things such as copyright, issues in web development (eg get permission to deep link), image manipulation, formatting of text and tables, and the use of corporate templates to build pages.  I was astounded back then when I taught the first class, training the trainer at the same time, and the class was asked to determine sites that were compliant with corporate style requirements - they came back with so many examples of non-compliance, so stoked!

As a part of that course I set them homework between classes, with homework from the second class requiring them to develop themselves a 2 web page CV that featured their photograph and one that visually represented them.  Some came back looking like technicolour yawn (aka screen VOMIT!), some more expectedly were plain but achieving the requirements, and the odd one that surprised me and exceeded expectations.

Back then we had considered developing additional, higher level courses for those having completed this course, or with previous experience.  That never eventuated, and within our new web direction at the university it is no longer directly relevant.

So back to this course I am developing for my client.  The course to be developed with be far smaller, and certainly no homework, but still needs to leave them with sufficient skills that they can continue to maintain their site.  Something that I will need to include in this course, that wasn't available back in 2005, is maintaining their sites use of Spry menus.  I chose to implement these menus for their o/s like delay in closing, something traditional css only pop-up menus lack, the down side is their maintenance within the site itself, not as easily edited as say, text.

I am committed to delivering my training session on August 1st, so not long to ensure I get this done.  As someone who's forever perfecting what he writes (you should see me writing an email some times) I am going to have to ensure I crack the whip should I notice myself doing so.  That being said, I quite enjoy the writing challenge, I've always wanted to write a fiction novel, sci-fi based, but I just lack sufficient imagination required to produce such a piece.  I've always wondered where people like J. K. Rowling manage to take their ideas, formulate them into the world of their story, building the characters to sufficient depth that the stories seemingly write themselves.

Although before u configure Evolution you have to log in to your gmail account and change your settings, on your settings page you have go to the Forwarding  POP/IMAP and enable it.

Mas quem é flagrado com um teor alcoólico acima do limite pode pegar até seis meses de prisão, ter a carteira de motorista suspensa por 12 meses e está sujeito a uma multa de até 5 mil libras esterlinas (quase R$ 16 mil). Para evitar as punições, surgiram serviços que permitem que os motoristas saiam de carro e bebam à vontade. Um deles é o Scooterman.

A empresa surgiu em 1999, fundada por dois amigos, Robert Willliamson e Edmond Hewitt. Eles queriam oferecer uma operação em que um chofer particular fosse buscar o cliente que tinha bebido mais que o permitido e o levasse para casa em seu próprio carro. A inovação do serviço é que o chofer chega para buscar o cliente numa mini-motocicleta desenhada especialmente para a empresa.

A moto é então desmontada, colocada em sacolas e, minutos depois, está encaixada no porta-malas do carro do cliente. O motoqueiro vira motorista particular até que o dono do carro chegue em casa, são e salvo, e sem causar acidentes.

“A nossa moto cabe em qualquer porta-malas, mesmo nos menores carros”, garante o diretor da Scooterman Robert Williamson.

Mark Peterson, um publicitário que se tornou freguês assíduo da empresa, elogia o serviço.

“Eu bebi o dia inteiro e o serviço é fantástico. Custa menos que andar de táxi e eu acordo no dia seguinte em casa, com meu carro na garagem”, diz ele.

Folic acid, the synthetic form of folate, is a B vitamin that contributes to the healthy development of babies. In Canada, it is estimated that four out of every 1,000 children born have a neural tube defect. These are birth defects that affect the brain and spinal cord. They occur shortly after conception, often before a woman knows she's pregnant. The most common defect is spina bifida, which results in the spine not forming completely early in the pregnancy.

Studies show that women who eat a diet rich in folate or foods fortified with folic acid and who take a multivitamin containing at least 0.4 mg of folic acid before pregnancy can reduce the risk of neural tube defects by up to 70 per cent.

It's recommended that women take folic acid at least three months before they get pregnant and throughout the first trimester of their pregnancy. Since not all pregnancies are planned, all women of childbearing age who are sexually active should try to eat foods rich in folic acid, like dark green leafy vegetables, bananas, nuts, and asparagus, as well as foods fortified with folic acid, such as certain breads, rice, and pasta.

Ketika kita mengunjungi sebuah website, misalnya www.yahoo.com, yang pertama kali dilakukan oleh browser adalah meminta alamat IP dari website yahoo ke server DNS. Server DNS ini kemudian melakukan pencarian ke database dan memberikan hasilnya kebrowser anda. Alamat IP dari website yahoo adalah 202.131.36.158. selanjutnya browser meminta halaman yang ingin anda kunjungi ke alamat ini. Proses permintaan alamat IP dan pencarian di database jelas memerlukan waktu.

Ada satu trik agar agar browser tidak perlu bertanya ke server DNS yaitu dengan mencantumkan alamat IP website yahoo tersebut ke dalam file Hosts yang terdapat di folder C:\Windows\System32\Driveretc. Dengan cara tersebut browser akan langsung meminta halaman web ke alamat 202.131.36.158.

Cantumkan semua alamat website yang sering anda kunjungi ke dalam file hosts, kalau anda bingung untuk mengetahui alamat IP dari masing-masing website, bisa gunakan perintah run kemudian ketikkan perintah ping www.yahoo.com. Alamat website silahkan diganti dengan website yang anda ingin tahu alamat IP nya. Setelah semua alamat IP yang sering anda kunjungi anda masukan ke file hosts, restart windows agar system membaca ulang isi file hosts. File hosts juga bisa digunakan untuk memblokir alamat-alamat website yang tidak diinginkan.

Catatan : untuk membuka file hosts bisa digunakan program notepad, penulisannya adalah anda tuliskan dahulu nomer IP nya kemudian spasi alamat websitenya.

Contoh : 71.14.253.147 www.google.co.id
