What are Tags?

Tags are like keywords or labels that help you to find and organise your photos. You add tags that have meaning to you. Some examples might be 'summer rain england' You can then search on tags, which will save some time rather than looking at pages of photos.

How to add a tag?

Tagging is easy ... you can tag pictures as you upload them. After you uploaded a picture you can Modify or Update it from the 'List view' or looking at an individual picture click on Update.

Your tags should be separated by a space so there is no need to use a comma, ok?

Try to tag photos like ofme (for pictures of you) 2007 (for the year they were taken) a friends name, location, food, animals, cities and countries.

Adult sexual pictures should also be 'marked as Adult' when you upload them so that we don't spoil Youppo for our younger members. It's done in exactly the same way.

Youppo has been in the planning since late last year and development for it is not stopping. While very much in a beta site, we are working to add new features each week to keep the site busy and fresh.

Login to your Last.fm account, select widgets ... grab the code for the old image charts

On Youppo ... select My Account / Hesabim ... and paste the code into one of the fields like Music!

www.Youppo.com went live around 9pm Turkish Summer Time. We sat and looked at it for a while and then realised that it was probably better to go home and not keep staring at the screen.

Youppo is a new social network site for Turkey, making it easy create your profile, to catch-up with friends, share your pictures and more. It's already in Turkish and English so options for expansion are massive.

We launched the site with a competition which is usually a good mechanism for getting interest and traffic on your site. People wanting to compete have to upload a picture and tag it to be part of the competition.

Let's see what happens
